One Size Does Not Fit All
| The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance was recently recognized at the annual dinner of the Northern Michigan Schools Legislative Association. The Association honored the Alliance at their dinner for the work the Alliance has done and continues to do to create a better educational environment in Northern Michigan. The Alliance and the Association often work toward similar goals regarding schools (2x funding and support for early childhood education programs as two examples), and understand the value of working together on important issues that impact our region’s future talent – our students.
Just prior to the dinner event, members of the Chamber Alliance met with Lt. Governor Calley and talked about the Alliance’s legislative priorities and “One size does not fit all” legislative approach. The Alliance continues to work on behalf of its more than 6,000 businesses to create a more positive business climate in Northern Michigan. |
