One Size Does Not Fit All
As the state of Michigan recently put the finishing touches on it’s road funding plan that would raise $1.2 billion dollars by 2021, members of Congress in Washington, DC, are also in the process of trying to find common ground on their own deal that would provide long-term funding and strategy for the country’s surface transportation infrastructure.
The Great Lakes Metro Chambers Coalition late last week sent a letter to members of the conference committee tackling the surface transportation package, as well as the entire Great Lakes congressional delegation, outlining key reforms and funding priorities for the Great Lakes region.
